The Matte White Polyester is a durable, thermal transfer printable material designed for applications requiring high clarity and durability, such as PCB identification, rating plates, and barcode labeling. With its matte finish and permanent acrylic adhesive, this label stock is ideal for environments where strong adhesion and resistance to harsh conditions are essential.

Temperature and Resistance Properties

  • Short-Term High Temperature: No visible effect at 180°C for 5 minutes; label shrinkage at 210°C.
  • Long-Term High Temperature: No visible effect at 100°C for 30 days; label yellowing at 120°C.
  • Low Service Temperature: No visible effect after 30 days at -40°C.
  • Humidity Resistance: No visible effect after 30 days at 100°F (37°C) and 95% relative humidity.
  • UV Resistance: Severe yellowing after 30 days in UV exposure.
  • Weatherability: Slight discoloration after 30 days in Xenon Arc Weatherometer.
  • Salt Fog Resistance: No visible effect after 30 days in 5% salt fog solution chamber.
  • Abrasion Resistance: Print durability varies by ribbon type, with up to 300 cycles for the R6000 ribbon.

Chemical Resistance:

The Matte White Polyester Label Stock has been tested against various chemicals and performs well under most conditions with minimal effect, ensuring long-lasting legibility and adhesion.

Shelf Life:

  • Storage Conditions: Stable for two years when stored in original packaging at temperatures below 80°F (27°C) and 60% relative humidity.
